Jump Start generates citations…Copy and paste your citation into your Works Cited or Bibliography, but beware! CHECK the citation for correct formatting (particularly the hanging indentation).
To email or find the citation of an item you found in JumpStart:
Click on the three vertical dots
For citations, click on the apostrophe (“)
For other ways to share (including email), click on “share”
If you can't find an item in CTX Library's print or online collection, your options are:
Option 1: Obtain the material yourself using your TexShare card. TexShare is a free passport for enrolled CTX students/employees that allows you to apply for borrowing privileges (physical items only, for the most part) at participating Texas libraries (call ahead before you go).
Option 2: CTX-affiliated users can request books, articles, or chapters from other libraries. Request the item through the InterLibrary Loan service by emailing your citation (and your permalink or DOI, if possible) to library@concordia.edu.
Requests for books, audiobooks, or DVDs have a turnaround time of 14 - 28 business days.
Requests for articles or book chapters have a turnaround time of 2 - 10 business days.
