Registration

Requesting a Ballot

  • No excuse mail ballots
  • Any registered voter in PA may request a Mail-in Ballot – to be sent to their permanent address. Students living away from their permanent address should apply for an Absentee Ballot.  Forms: https://www.votespa.com/Voting-in-PA/Pages/Mail-and-Absentee-Ballot.aspx
  • Picture ID needed if the voter did not include a PA Driver’s license, PennDOT or SSN on application

Voting

  • Be sure to use BOTH the two envelopes provided - the secrecy sleeve AND the mailing sleeve.  Your ballot will be rejected if one is missing.

  • Your signature needs to match the signature on file with the state (e.g. if you use a middle initial or not)

  • Ballot must be RECEIVED by election day, by mail or by hand - contact your county election official for locations: https://www.votespa.com/Resources/Pages/Contact-Your-Election-Officials.aspx
