Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

All members of the CTX Faculty and Staff were invited to share a book (or two) they have recently read on diversity and inclusion. Scholarly Articles and Essays were also included.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Interlibrary Loan is a free service for current CTX students, faculty and staff. CTX-affiliated users can request books, articles, or chapters from other libraries. Interlibrary loan is intended to fill the need for items that the CTX Library may not own.  All you need to request an item through our interlibrary service is to email your citation to library@concordia.edu or click here to log in and fill out a form.  In the time of COVID, however, many libraries are not lending out physical materials.  Also, the mail is a lot slower.  If you have a request, it's best to get it in as soon as possible.

TexShare card info for people with current CTX IDs

We are issuing TexShare cards to our patrons. Cardholders will have to call individual libraries to clarify whether they can come on campus, what policies and limitations exist for item checkouts, etc.   If you have a current UT library card and have questions, you may need to email: cbdesk@lib.utexas.edu or call 512-495-4305.

TexShare info non-CTX people (members of the public)

For members of the public who have TexShare cards from other institutions and want to use the library, please call for instructions before coming (512-313-5051).   We are currently planning on honoring the cards issued this year for up to four (4) items.  And you will be able to use a guest sign in for computer use.  Please limit computer use to no more than 2 hours.   Building use is also limited to 2 hours.  Printing, within reason, is gratis.   Note: when entering the library, you will be asked each time to come to the Front Information Desk and fill out a visitor sheet (this will be in addition to any information you will be asked to give at the front gate).  This information allows the library or the university to contact you if needed.
